About us

ECOS MISSION

ECOS aims at promoting R&D, generating and transferring knowledge, promoting energy topics, consulting, and disseminating advanced scientific and engineering knowledge on energy conversion and efficiency, as well as on energy sustainability based on its pillars of environment, economics, and society,

ECOS uses various venues, including its annual conferences, to introduce and educate scholars, students, policymakers, companies and institutions, funding and government agencies, and the media, to cutting-edge research that benefits society. It also initiates discussions among international scholars from diverse disciplines about the current state of energy-related research and development, including the impacts of energy use and conversion on critical resources such as water and clean air, and on climate change. ECOS strives to foster new collaborative and interdisciplinary relationships among emerging and established engineers, scientists, and policymakers.

These activities will provide all interested groups the opportunity to exchange insight into future research needs. As its major event, ECOS conferences are designed to foster interaction among upcoming scholars, to share views, and to facilitate their interaction with potential collaborators.
